Our first and flagship beer, “212 Flatiron Ale”, is an American Pale Ale, conceived on quality and distinction.
Versatile and approachable, 212 Flatiron Ale is brewed with 30% wheat malt and a blend of warrior, glacier and cascade hops. Visually appealing, the beer has a rich, golden wheat color; it is silky smooth, slightly hopped, medium bodied, and delivers a refreshing, crisp, clean finish on the palate with slight notes of citrus and tropical hops.

The 212 area code was one of the original 86 area codes assigned by AT&T in 1947. It served the entire ve-borough area of New York City.
AT&T assigned area codes to the large cities on the basis of the shortest dialing time to minimize resource contention and operator involvement given the rotary dial technology of the time, and thus New York received the shortest code, “212.”
